Happy Pride Month & Fresh Titles at Analogue Bookstore!

This month is Pride Month! Come check out our Pride display! Our wish is that people feel safe and welcome at our store regardless of who they are & who they love. Love is love. All we need is love.

June and the joys of reading outside in the sun are finally here! I've already enjoyed an afternoon reading by City Park Pool while my kiddos swam. I can't wait to spend more relaxing days outside with a good book. I don't know about you but I have been browsing books in search for the perfect mini-stack to bring with me on vacation this summer! We have several thrillers, rom-coms, spicier romances (we even have a new section dedicated to the Romance Genre!) and so many other options to keep you entertained while you relax this summer. I'll describe some of the books in this stack below. I am so interested in all of these!

ANALOGUE BOOK CLUB!!!

We just met up last night 6/6 to discuss Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez. The group of people who show up for Book Club are amazing, I always look forward to hearing what people think about the pick of the month. As usual, last night was excellent. July's discussion will be on June 11th, since the first Thursday is Independents Day. We will be discussing Home is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose. I can't wait to hear how everyone's 4th of July was and to hear who liked it and who didn't!

If you haven't joined our Facebook Group, you should! I post a poll towards the end of the month to get help selecting the following book selection.. You should also pop in for book club sometime!

What's new in the book store?

The Wren in the Holly Library K.A. Linde

An action-packed and full of steam story about Kierse and Graves. New York City had a cataclysmic war with monsters that emerged from the shadows thirteen years ago. A truce was eventually created. Kierse is a gifted thief, enters the Holly Library not realizing it is the home of an alluring monster. This book promises fantasy, twisty action, and spice. And look at the pretty edging!!

This anthology includes four devastating tales from a master of modern horror.

The Skin Was Once Mine

"Eric LaRocca distorts spaces, both internal and external, creating new caities within our bodies, fresh chasms in our minds, and flooding them with nothing but absolute terror. This skin Was Once Mine and Other Disturbances makes for exquisite suffering and confirms LaRocca's mantle as the ehir apparent to Clive Barker and Poppy Z. Brite. Glory be to the new king of Horror." ~ Clay McCleod Chapmen, author of What Kind of Mother and Ghost Eaters

Leather & Lark (The Ruinous Love Trilogy #2) by Brynne Weaver

Genre: Romance, Dark, Thriller, Horror

Marriage of Convenience

Hate to Love

Grumpy/Sunshine

Did you read Butcher & Blackbird? This is your next step. You know you want to find out about the twisted story is in this book. And apparently there is a phantom lurking at their doorstep, coming for blood...

Service Model

"To fix the world they first must break it further." Robots are finding a new purpose as humanity is dying out. A domesticated robot gets a nasty idea downloaded into their core programing, murders their owner, and runs away! I'm eager to read this one...
