New Genre Fiction Sections!!! I recently read an article in the New York Times about how bookstores across the nation are focusing on the Romance genre. Where once romance was ignored by booksellers, now it tops best seller lists! Romance authors like Emily Henry, Rebecca Yarros, Abby Jimenez, and Colleen Hoover are continually rising in popularity. This trend shift encouraged us to lean into various additional Genre Fiction sections at Analogue! We now have a Romance section that ranges from Contemporary Romance/Chick Lit, Historical Fiction Romance, Fantasy/Paranormal Romance, and extra spicy/smutty Romance as well. Other new Genre Fiction sections include Thriller/Mystery/Crime, Historical Fiction, and Classical Literature. Our hope is that this will help you find your next favorite book!

Blind Date with a Book!!! Are you brave enough to buy a book without knowing the title of the book!? At Analogue, we have a collection of Blind Books for sale. I rotate the genres to help keep them fresh and potentially catch the eye of various readers. There are times when I pick a book to add to the blind book shelf and it is super hard because I want to keep it for myself! While the selections are random, I read the synapsis of each one to create the little descriptions. Come pick a random book and take it for a date! <3

The next Analogue Book Club Book of the Month is Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin!!! Join us on Thursday, September 5th to discuss this book.
Let the games begin! Sam and Sadie were childhood friends. Once estranged the two reconnect by chance on a subway platform and proceed to collaborate on the creation of a video game that launches them into stardom. This book is described as “a dazzling and intricately novel that examines the multifarious nature of identity, games as art, technology and the human experience, disability, failure, the redemptive possibilities in play, and above all, our need to connect: to be loved and to love.” #happyreading
I cannot wait to see everyone tonight at 7pm to discuss Legends & Lattes!
See you soon!
